Tofu Looking for Software Engineer (Frontend) – All levels at San Francisco Bay Area Full Time

What you’ll get to do

We’re looking for exceptional frontend engineers to join our merry band of innovators. You’ll be diving deep into our React, Next.js, and TypeScript stack to craft delightful user experiences for our Tofu product.

But it’s not just about writing pretty code (though we do love that). You’ll be directly working with customers and collaborating with our design and product teams to transform concepts into seamless, user-friendly features.

What we’re looking for

We’re after someone who doesn’t just code, but crafts. Someone who sees beyond the pixels and understands how each component fits into the bigger picture of our users’ needs. You should excel in:

• React, Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS
• Modern frontend build tools and workflows
• Attention to detail in creating polished user interfaces
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Writing unit and end-to-end tests
• RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services
• Thinking about user experience holistically
• At least 2 years of working experience (startup experience preferred)
