Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing all necessary Quality Department tasks in a safe and timely manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To regularly use safe working practices and to alert the Manufacturing Manager whenever an unsafe condition exists.
• To follow the area plan for 5S and to be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe workstation.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Quality Engineer/Supervisor.
• Perform and record results per the Ongoing Test Matrix and Inspection Standards.
• Perform and record results of measurements taken for PPAP/ISR packages.
• Maintain the blueprint files for gauges.
• Maintain the PPAP/ISR files.
• Gauge control and certification.
• Checking fixture control and certification.
• Operate the CMM/10X magnifier, rock hardness tester, tensile tester and additional equipment as related to the duties of the position.
• Provide technical support to assembly personnel as relates to duties of the position.
• Limited travel as needed for sorting, rework, meetings, etc.
• Problem Solving both Internal & External.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 – 3 years of manufacturing experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Familiar with current processes of the floor. Good oral and written communication skills are required. Computer literacy required. Requires the interpersonal skills and knowledge to work harmoniously with groups and individuals.
