The Mailroom Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day activities of the mailroom including all shipping and receiving of UPS, FEDEX, USPS, freight trucking, etc. Pickup and delivery of US Mail at post office and on-property distribution
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Picking up mail from post office, sorting and delivering to each department
Picking up outgoing mail from each department and running postage machine
Taking mail to the post office
Receiving and shipping of hotel boxes
Receiving and shipping of guest incoming and outgoing convention material via UPS, Federal Express Freight Trucking, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Able to organize and keep records of receiving and shipping materials
Able to lift at least 75 lbs.
Work under stressful and busy conditions
Knowledge of UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, and Freight trucking procedures.
