Position: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Salary: $17.65-19.50/hr

Scope of the Position:

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will work with our team of dedicated professionals in our Steel Roofing Division, preparing quality Metal Roofing & Cladding Panels & Trims for shipment to our growing list of customers in Eastern Canada and receiving stock as it arrives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Preparing orders for shipping to customers

– Receiving stock as it arrives

– Loading and unloading of product

– Promptly sorts and stocks receivables

– Safe operation of warehouse equipment

– Keep the warehouse and yard clean and organized

– Load orders for delivery as required

– Any other duties as assigned

Education and Skills:

– Strong attention to detail

– Ability to prioritize and multi-task

– Accurately process orders in a safe and efficient manner

– Positive attitude & good work ethic

– Punctual & Reliable

– Ability to work in a face paced environment

– Forklift experience is an asset

– Bilingualism is an asset

Experience:

– Prior experience in shipping and receiving is an asset
