About The Role

The Financial Operations Analyst ensures streamlined transaction processing, oversees company purchasing and sales processes, and manages a funding programme. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role collaborates closely with the CFO, Finance team, Customer Relationship Managers, and the Client Services team. With a primary focus on transactional processes, the role supports broader business needs especially during busy periods and peak times of the month.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Swap approval and matching process
• Handle operational processing for Swaps and Drawdowns
• Manage rebate requests
• Coordinate new and rolling Finance for funding purposes, involving communication with client-facing teams
• Conduct monthly key reconciliations, including those for external funders
• Assist the Finance Manager in maintaining product pricing calculators
• Prepare and execute ad hoc audit runs
• Serve as a backup for operational processing of sales, finance, and other runs.
• Consolidate Finance and Swap runs for budgeting and forecasting purposes
• Provide backup support, including receipting of Tax Purchase and Tax Finance

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have at least 3 years working in a similar role within large banking or financial services. You will be an effective communicator with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, demonstrating energy and immaculate attention to detail. You will possess strong analytical skills, time management, maintain autonomy and personal integrity, showcasing the ability to handle ambiguity and complex challenges at times.

Essential Skills And Experience

• 3+ years in a similar role
• Experience working in large financial services or banking environment
• Finance or business qualifications (advantageous)
• Attention to detail and proactive issue resolution
• Analytical proficiency and a keen interest in financial products
• Strong time management and prioritisation abilities
• Advantageous experience/knowledge of AML
• Exceptional communication skills
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
