Tribe and Te Whatu Ora are working together to recruit multiple roles within the Procurement, Supply Chain and Health technology Management team, and that includes two Senior Category Managers.
About The Role
These two Senior Category Manager roles can be based anywhere in Aotearoa New Zealand.
These roles will see you meet the strategic and operational requirements for the products and services covered by the relevant category by developing, managing and delivering the required category strategies.
In this role you will be responsible for leading a category portfolio and a team, ensuring the outcomes and efficiencies laid out in a National Procurement and Supply Chain Plan are delivered effectively through a distributed model that will continually identify opportunities for end to end procurement activities to add value. You will support the development and implementation of transparent procurement, driving cost and supply chain efficiencies for Te Whatu Ora.
About You
You are an experienced procurement leader wanting to take on a challenging portfolio of categories. You are comfortable in a changing environment dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. You will have a good number of years procurement experience, preferably within a large complex organisation and have worked within a Category Management structure. You will no doubt have run end-to-end category management processes and have experience with total cost of ownership / whole of life costing models. As a leader you will have excellent coaching and leadership experience and proven history of developing high performing teams and individuals
