SERVICE DESK ANALYST – CALGARY (CAT)
In your role as a Service Desk Analyst, you will provide technical assistance for employees in both the head office and district bases.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that Trican’s core value, “We won’t put anyone in harm’s way” is the priority in all activities
Assist all employees requiring IT assistance as first point of contact
Setup and maintain employee network accounts
Configure new personal computers such as desktops and laptops
Decommission computer assets at the end of their lifecycle
Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades as required
Troubleshoot all technical support issues in person, phone, or via email
Assist in daily ticketing queue prioritizing escalations and maintaining service-level agreements
Ship and receive computer equipment while ensuring all inventory is current in the asset database
Experience & Skills:
Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
Minimum two years experience in desktop support is preferred
Proven customer focus with excellent interpersonal skills
Sound analytical and interpretational skills
Skilled in applying problem-solving techniques
Skilled in verbal and written communication
Ability to prioritize multiple activities with tight deadlines
Ability to work at a fast pace and produce quality work
Ability to be organized and follow a systematic method of performing a task
Proficient with Microsoft Office desktop applications, Microsoft Operating Systems

Working Conditions:
Regular office hours, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
No remote option, this position is an on-site role
Participate in an on call weekly rotation for support problems that may arise after office hours
