The Bedford location of Trim Landscaping is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our accounting department as a Junior Accountant.

Working side by side with our controller, you will be responsible for managing the daily financial and accounting tasks for the business. This is a great opportunity for someone to be mentored and grow their already existing talent as the company continues to grow.

The ideal candidate will hold:

• Diploma in Business Administration or Accounting
• Or have minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Must be proficient in QuickBooks.
• Experience in Hubdoc considered an asset.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel

What does a Junior Accountant do?

• Accounts Payable – working with hubdoc and QBO to review payables, pay vendors, and reconcile vendor statements.
• Accounts Receivable- Applying customer payments, sending out customer statements, and customer account reconciliations.
• Bank Reconciliation- Reconcile bank accounts and visa accounts by monthly deadlines.
• Payroll- Assist with payroll entry and review.
• Assist Controller with other duties as required.
