New medical clinic in Surrey looking for experienced medical clinical office manager. Preferably, someone with experience with opening a new medical practice.
Job Duties include:
Administrative management: The office manager is responsible for the overall administration of the medical clinic. This includes managing office supplies, day to day operations, scheduling meetings, reviewing updates and dealing with EMR support, and managing the billing process.
Staff management: The office manager is responsible for managing the clinic staff, which may include medical office assistants, receptionists, and other administrative personnel. This involves hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff members.
Financial management: The office manager is responsible for managing the clinic’s finances, including budgeting and financial reporting. This may involve working with insurance companies (ICBC, WCB, Private Insurers) and other third-party payers to ensure timely and accurate payment for services rendered.
Compliance management: The office manager must ensure that the clinic complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to patient privacy and safety.
Communication management: The office manager serves as the primary point of contact for patients, staff, and external partners. This involves managing the clinic’s communication channels, including phone, email and ensuring that all messages are clear, accurate, and timely.
Strategic planning: The office manager works with the clinic’s leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans and goals. This may involve identifying new opportunities for growth, developing marketing and outreach strategies, and ensuring that the clinic is positioned for long-term success.

Salary: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
