Our site in Perry, Ohio is part of the Global Manufacturing Solutions (GMS) business. We specialise in low volume, high mix electronics manufacturing for the aerospace, defense, industrial, and medical industries. Summary: Responsible for final circuit board preparation and coating process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

• locate manufacturing instructions

• follow requirements for Set up, 1st piece inspection and in-process audits

• demonstrate proper handling precautions when working with process chemicals and materials

• follow basic techniques in operating manual tape dispensers, brushes, hot melt glue guns, air-powered dispensers, syringes to dispense RTV’s and spot mask

• prep/unprep basic components from steps in manufacturing instructions

• review shelf life of RTV’s and conformal coatings prior to usage

• operate and verify torque of torque wrenches per SOP7/2-37

• locate and use MSDS sheets

Physical Demands: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by Team Member to successfully perform of the essential functions of this job.

Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Constanly walk, finger, grasp, feel 90-100% of the time; frequently stoop, reach, push, lift, talk, hear and do repetitive motions 60-90% of the time.

Visual Acuity: The Team member is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities for operation of machines, including visual inspection, using measurement devices; and/or assembly of parts at distances close to the eyes. Ability or increased ability to see color, or perceive color differences, under normal lighting conditions.

Work Environment: The Team member is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not room temperature changes, there is sufficient noise to cause the worker to increase volume in order to be heard above ambient noise level. The Team member is subjected to atmospheric conditions including odors 90-100% of the time and is required to wear a respirator, safety glasses, gloves and apron. The Team Member is frequently (60-90% of the time) in a small enclosed room to perform their duties.

The Team Member is required to work overtime on a constant basis.
