Nursing Services Co-Ordinator

Tui Medical is a group of seven General Practice clinics and  two Urgent Care practices that provide primary Healthcare services for 45’000 people in the Waikato region.

We seek a motivated, enthusiastic senior nurse to join our team.

The Role

• Provide leadership, guidance and support for staff members
• Ensure care is provided to patients in accordance with the appropriate professional and company standards
• Provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and other staff
• Resource management
• Manage all treatment and care related resources in an effective and cost-efficient manner and maximize opportunities for clinic income generation
• Promote, monitor and participate in all quality improvement activities

Qualifications / Experience Required:

• Current Nursing Council Registration and Practicing Certificate
• A minimum of 2 years nursing experience preferably as a practice nurse or urgent care nurse
• Clinical competence in practice and urgent care nursing
• Team development and leadership skills
• Willingness to adapt and drive change
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work within deadlines and cope well under pressure
• Experience with Medtech Evolution or equivalent system essential
• Competent with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to delegate and direct others sensitively
• Experience with change management
