SUMMARY: The Live Production Intern will work in a variety of Live Production locations which may include the Feed Mill Hatcheries Broiler Service Breeder Service. They will also gain exposure to operation support departments such as Accounting Safety Quality Assurance and Human Resources etc. Our Interns are expected to contribute to our success through innovative ideas and value creation. Based on successful performance and the talent needs of our business Internships are intended to provide exposure to a real-life work environment regular interaction with a supervisor practical experience in the poultry live production industry the opportunity to self-evaluate personal strengths and opportunities for further development and development of workplace competencies. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university. Students seeking a degree in Poultry Operations or other agriculture related field are preferred. Experience: Previous work experience of any kind is preferred Computer Skills: Basic computer skills Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively; excellent verbal and written communication skills. Special Skills: A successful candidate for an Intern position should possess the following: Be a motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn from others; ability to work independently or as part of a team; strong problem solving skills; time management and multi-tasking abilities; and strong interpersonal skills.
