SUMMARY:

– Stockroom attendants are responsible for maintaining control of
spare parts and repair materials that are required to maintain safe,
reliable, and efficient production.

– Applicants will be considered for a stockroom position opening on
B-shift within the facility and will be required to work some
overtime and weekends when business needs arise.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and be able to learn the
Tyson SAP materials management system.
Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively and
professionally with all levels of site personnel. Stockroom personnel
must be able to work safely and independently at all times. Must be able
to read, write, and interpret equipment manuals and technical
instructions where required.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
on a daily basis and able to work on your feet for a period of up to
twelve (12) hours consecutively within a refrigerated environment.
Applicants must be able and willing to follow all operational procedures
and safety rules.
Management Support positions must not have more than 6.0 attendance
points.
Must meet the minimum requirements to include position-specific
requirements as listed on the job posting.
Applicants cannot have more than 1 Written Warning in the last 12
months. Applicants may not have a Written Warning w/Suspension or Core
Safety Mandate violation in the last 12 months.
This position is slated for current Tyson applicants. Priority
consideration will be provided to these applicants first. If an internal
(Tyson employee) applicant is not selected, external applicants will
then be reviewed for consideration.
