Job Description

Manages a credit administration/loan review group responsible for a segment of the company’s credit approval, administration and review activities that support established credit objectives. Ensures credits adhere to existing policies and regulatory credit specifications; documentation is adequate to ensure security of collateral; and ongoing administration and review is adequate to maintain the loan portfolio’s quality and profitability.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience

• Typically, eight to 10 years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Advanced knowledge of credit policies, credit analysis, procedures and philosophy

• Strong analytical skills in relation to evaluating asset utilization and goals

• Demonstrated analytical and risk analysis skills

• Thorough knowledge of organization, business practices, business philosophy, and ethics

• Demonstrated management and leadership skills

• Well-developed customer service/relations skills

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Prior SBA or commercial underwriting experience

• Prior SBA process and loan programs

• Prior lending authority (at least 500k)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

• Proficiency in Moody’s Credit Lens

• Proficiency in nCino

• CPA certification preferred

• Master’s degree in finance preferred

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $120,700.00 – $142,000.00 – $156,200.00
