About the Team:
As a member of the Open Banking Technology team, you will be a pioneer of new ideas, features, and products. We are looking for a Sr. Engineering Manager who, along with their teammates, can build/prototype new ideas quickly, measure their effectiveness, and assess viability in the fast growing Partner engagement practice.
Your team, and you, will have the autonomy to define your roadmap, move at your own pace, and deliver innovative solutions.

What you will do:
Lead multiple engineering teams and will lead the delivery of partner APIs for Open Banking.
You will be architecting and implementing high performing software applications.
Responsible for application performance, complex APIs and integration across multiple applications.
Work cross functionally with Product, Design, QA and other partner teams to deliver well-engineered experiences that delight customers.
Manage technical projects or programs, working closely with product managers, engineers and technical staff to develop and track release milestones and schedules for the many moving parts that need to come together. Develop a plan and schedule with well-defined milestones.
You will own release schedules in our fast-paced environment.
Manage communication of progress/status within the core team and external to the team; escalate issues as necessary.
Assess the quality of releases through monitoring of incoming bugs and code changes to identify quality issues and trends.
Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
10 or more years of experience with developing and implementing applications
Eight or more years of experience with major tasks, deliverables, formal methodologies and disciplines for delivering new or enhanced applications
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Hands on experience developing in technologies like Java, Spring, Springboot, Cloud, Kafka, NoSQL, Jenkins, RestAssured/TestNG
Strong understanding of design principles, patterns and best practices
Strong analytical skills and ability to review code.
Proven ability to architect software applications and adopt and improve existing architecture
Experience leading in agile development teams
Ability to drive testing strategy and experience with automation
Experience in building and maintaining a highly available and fault-tolerant tier-0 distributed systems
Experience with Web API and REST architecture
Experience with Git, Scrum, Kanban
Strong estimation and resource planning skills is a huge plus
Coordinate multiple streams of work and plan releases is a strong plus
Ability to interact with Business line leaders and develop consensus and obtain buy in is a strong plus
Experience working with geographically distributed engineering teams
Strong people management skills including mentoring and coaching engineers of all skill levels
Banking experience is a strong plus

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $134,640.00 – $158,400.00 – $174,240.00
