- Serve as the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) providing the authoritative source of technical information for all Cybersecurity matters.
- Perform authorization of all DoD AIS, DODIIS, networks and resources in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) ensuring continuous updates.
- Exercise responsibility for the planning and maintenance of the G2/ASO applications and systems.
- Conduct collaborative risk and vulnerability assessments in threat and vulnerability assessments to assess risks.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
- All INSCOM staff may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
- Temporary duty (TDY) travel will be required (CONUS) approximately 10% of the time, as well as frequently extended duty with long hours under high pressure and generally high-risk job responsibilities.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI)
- Must obtain the required certification/recertification for this position within six months of appointment as outlined in DoD Publication 8570.01-M. (See additional information)
