UCHealth Hiring for Imaging Library Specialist at Fort Collins, CO Full Time

Summary:

Responsible for the collection and interpretation of physician’s orders from various sources and the translation of those orders into the Radiology Information System.

Work Schedule: Full Time Days

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for distributing results and completing film loans to the hospital, medical and legal communities.
• Assists all referring physicians by collecting and presenting current or historical images for viewing.
• Assists Radiologists in various activities in the provision of radiographic or medical services and does scheduling.
• Assists in training and instruction of other film room personnel regarding film room function and processes.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
  
  Required Licensure/Certification: Relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
  Minimum Experience: None required.

The pay range for this position is: $18.00 – $23.40 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience.

An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
