We’re looking for a collaborative individual to support to the Media Sales Team and acts as the go-to source for all pre-sales processes related to proposal development through to contract execution.. Equally important to this role will be the ability to analyze media sales opportunities and build thoughtful proposals in response. This individual must be able to adapt their approach and demeanor to match shifting demands and priorities all while building internal partnerships with effective communication.
Some of the job responsibilities include:
- Working daily in support of sales goal by assisting in the development of sales pitches, providing insights on pricing and inventory, and crafting client-facing proposals or presentations with key insights, solutions, and measurement plans
- In conjunction with Sales Leads, work to meet advertiser objectives and address client needs while highlighting URW’s value proposition and capabilities with media proposals that include accurate pricing, utilize approved products and available inventory, and adhere to defined business strategy
- Manage information gathering as liaison on behalf of Media Sales team to support requests related to inventory, pricing, creative specifications, research, etc. and other information gathering needed from other internal URW groups
- Manage the input of sales proposals and other relevant data into sales/inventory management system throughout the sales process
We are looking for a candidate with:
- 2+ years of experience in sales support or planning role at advertising, media, or experiential agency or an ad-supported media company
- Experience developing sales proposals that address a client’s objectives is a plus
- Prior use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce is desirable
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Interest in Media Sales is a must. A good understanding of the role of advertising media in a client’s marketing mix is a plus
- Ability to meet multiple reporting deadlines and work under pressure in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Detailed and results-oriented and strives for continuous improvement
- Good ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders including internal colleagues from multiple divisions, external clients and agencies, and/or vendor partners
- Excellent verbal, written and strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset who can work well within a team but can also work independently.
