About the Department
UOB Private Bank is dedicated to managing the wealth of high-net-worth individuals with investment assets of $5 million and above. Keeping in mind our clients’ financial objectives, we provide tailored products and solutions that draw on the Group’s comprehensive suite of personal, business and investment services.

Job Responsibilities

• Good understanding of Trade Lifecycle impacting Private Bank with a good grasp of order management system, PB processes and products.
• Partner with respective counterparts to elicit business needs through human-centric, visual methods such as user journeys and develop the appropriate business case
• Analyze impact of requested changes, propose improvements to meet evolving business needs and work with support team to understand and address technical problems
• Evaluate solutions from vendor partners and recommend suitable technology that meets business requirements/ needs
• Primary point of contact to liaise and coordinate with key project stakeholders e.g. Demand Management, Group Strategy and Transformation, Front Office Representatives and Technology teams etc
• Perform analysis and documentation of Business Requirements for Private Bank digital and technology projects.
• Take the lead in the development of test scripts for in-scope items for core PB projects and ensure necessary test data and environments are in place
• Execute test scripts for PB projects, ensuring important milestones are met and key artifacts/ documents are aligned to Project Framework standards.
• Provide prompt updates and statistics as well as escalate in timely manner if there are risks or issues which may result in missed milestones.
• Represent team in recurring UAT calls and engage relevant counterparts to identify and resolve issues/ defects promptly.
• Ensure proper documentation & archival of all project related materials.
• Planning and delegation of resource management tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor/s.

Job Requirements

• Min 4 years of working experience relating to PB trade and Front Office experience with good understanding of Private Banking processes, front to back. (Highly advantageous)
• Technical knowledge relating to PB trading systems and good Excel/ VBA knowledge will be advantageous
• Mature, good attitude and able to work independently with minimal supervision and willingness to be hands on
• Experience in leading and managing a small team of Business Analysts
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to interact with colleagues from other functional areas.
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight timelines
• Ability to work overtime as required and occasionally on weekends during testing phrases (You will be compensated accordingly on overtime as per MOM EA)
