About the role:

You will play a lead role regarding technical and innovative work happening across our business and technology teams in Ireland. You will be a key orchestrator in implementing the vision of establishing Optum’s Ireland Office as a technology and innovation hub. Specifically, your focus will be to identify new growth opportunities as well as mature and maintain existing Optum Tech Division footprints in Dublin. You will meet regularly with product managers, product owners, enterprise architects, Workforce Management, Finance, Global Human Capital Partners, Talent Acquisition, Technology and Business Leadership to serve as a key resource for alignment. You will facilitate and lead collective groups to identify common themes of work, as well as rationalise incoming work against the best operating model. You will work to gain consensus on solutions for common themes and encourage innovation where possible. You will serve as a leader, mentor, and partner to ensure the success of Optum Tech Divisions and the Innovation Hub. Advocates Growth, Maturation & Retention for Ireland

Primary Responsibilities:

• Customers of this role include: Senior Leadership, Application Owners, Product Owners, Product Managers, Enterprise Leaders, and Business Leads. Work within teams of to define scope, objectives, team size, and operating model through research, fact-finding, and requirements review.
• Possesses working knowledge of R&D credits and grants plus IP Operating Models available to Ireland.
• Reviews and facilitates solutions to Human Capital and Talent Acquisition topics, escalations, and common themes.
• Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues. Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions. Performs complex conceptual analyses. Provides explanations and information to others on the most complex issues using fact-based decisions.
• Seen as a key resource for successful deployment of solutions, hiring, onboarding, and integration of new teams.
• Recognised as an expert facilitator and collaborator with clients, business, and technology teams.
• Negotiates, resolves, and prioritizes complex issues and discrepancies-of-opinion by user groups.
• Develops innovative approaches to resolve conflict and drive change.
• Serves as a leader and mentor for Ireland teams. Motivates and inspires other team members to collaborate in a cross-enterprise fashion.
• Advocate and support/organise events for local technology guilds, showcases, meet ups and organisations such as Women in Tech, Dublin Advocate Team, and other People Pillar activities.
• Forecasts and plans resource requirements. Leads and facilitates the creation of estimates to understand funding alignment across requesting organisations.
• Works with other capability owners to identify similar project objects to build reusable development outputs.
