The Service Account Associate is responsible for escalations for the call center, provider redemption solutions, pre-note banking resolution, provider tax levies, and payment resolution. Payment Relations Resolution Analyst will be responsible for call outs as needed, performing the appropriate processes to research and resolve provider inquires. Conducts data entry and re-work as needed; analyzes and identifies trends and provides reports as necessary.

Primary Responsibilities:
Resolve complex Optum Pay provider issues
Review, analyze and identify trends and provides reports as necessary
Strives for provider service excellence
Gather appropriate data/information and perform initial investigation to determine scope and depth of providers questions
Work rejected payments from provider account via phone & email
Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence and quality standards
Monitor and investigate bank account changes that occur during the red flag potential process
Understanding of the Optum Pay Enrollment Processes
Monitor all Optum Pay Operations email boxes
Identify and communicate solutions to provider questions, using appropriate problem-solving skills and established guidelines, where available (e.g., workarounds, descriptions of relevant processes)
Send provider facing communications when deemed necessary
Assists in the establishment and maintenance of procedures
Assists in maintaining an environment that encourages teamwork, interdependence, and ethical behavior
Support internal audits request from business partners
Assists leadership with various projects as the need arises
Other duties as assigned.

Update Step Action Guides
Communicate processes and test outcomes with Product Development

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
3+ years of work experience in an office environment, healthcare related/insurance related field or customer service industry
2+ years of call center experience
2+ years of experience with process improvement
2+ years of experience with problem investigation and resolution skills
2+ years of experience in the healthcare, managed care, or health insurance field
Experience with Microsoft Excel (creating V Look Up, Pivot Tables), Microsoft Word (creating documents) and Microsoft Outlook (drafting emails, calendar management)
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and work overtime as required
Telecommuting Requirements:
Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
