This position is full – time. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

We offer 2 weeks of training. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Providing expertise or general claims support to teams in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing, and adjudicating Long Term Disability claims.
• Authorizes the appropriate payment or refers claims to Team Lead or Manager for validation of adverse or over limit approvals

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• 1+ years of experience with reviewing and rendering initial liability determinations on Long Term Disability Claims
• Microsoft Word (ability to create, modify, and send documents)
• Microsoft Excel (ability to create, modify, and send spreadsheets)
• Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Telecommuting Requirements:

• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada or New York City Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $45,100 – $80,200. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada / New York City residents is $49,800 – $88,200.
