Duties and Responsibilities
With over 15,000 postgraduate research students, research staff and academics, bold and radical thinking continues to drive UCL forward. The Organisational Development team, who also support an additional 6,000 professional services staff, play a critical role in developing these communities to achieve the academic mission set out in UCL 2034.
Working as part of the Researcher Experience team, alongside the Academic and Research Development Manager, the role is responsible for responding to UCL institutional strategy to support an inclusive and healthy research culture, enabling excellent research by nurturing intellectual research leadership through the design, management and delivery of interventions and award schemes such as the Doctoral Skills and Research Staff Development Programmes, annual festival, and initiatives.
Initially one year fixed term contract.
Key Requirements
Education to degree level, experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders with the ability to foster productive relationships.
Understanding of the development needs of the research community and the ability to lead on the design, development, and delivery of interventions to address needs.
Experience of delivering continuous improvement projects based on analysis of quantitative and qualitative evaluation data.
Ability to respond to fast-changing environment and communicate effectively at all levels.
