As an educator / mentor within HCCD the post holder will deliver “Keys Skills ” teaching sessions across engagement, training delivery and work experience as service needs dictate.
As part of the assessment team the post holder will design and deliver a range of flexible teaching programmes which will provide learners with the opportunity to upskill in their English , Maths or IT skills to enable them to apply for roles where they will need to indicate they are working to a prescribed level ( no higher than Level 2)

The post holder will be required to adhere to quality assurance requirements through the compilation and updating of the required information in line with GDPR requirements, ensuring information is forwarded to the appropriate source (i.e.) Data Manager in order that databases and contractual paperwork for the nominated programmes can be updated and remain current.
1. To deliver Key skills training packages for clients who are looking to upskill in either their English, Maths , IT or a combination of all 3 in order to support them in progressing into their chosen job goal.
2. To maintain records (both electronic and paper based) from point of their expression of interest to completion of programme.
3. To identify where pastoral support is required and be responsible for identifying learners who may need to undertake additional training or receive additional support during their time with HCCD.
4. To meet learners and to set “SMART” action plans and reviews in order to encourage progression within their programme.
5. To contribute to the development of scheme of works and lesson plans, delivery and evaluation of programmes 6. The post holder will ensure that they complete reviews/documents and update relevant systems on a regular basis ensuring that progression is tracked and monitored.
7. The post holder will ensure that the learners development of personal, social and employability skills prepares them for their intended job role, careers aims and/personal goals.
8. Use blended learning (i.e.) MS Teams , face to face, BKSB and Moodle etc to develop learners and track outcome and progression.
