The Education and Future Workforce Manager is a key role within the wider education team and is responsible for supporting and delivering our future workforce and apprenticeship plans, maintaining and developing effective partnerships andrelationships, will represent the team and Trust at key meetings, will support Learning and Education strategy and plans across the Trust. Line management of the Apprenticeship and Work Experience Co-ordinators.

• To lead on the community (WP) and future workforce agenda for the Trust with the priority of developing our future workforce through engagement with our local schools, colleges, universities and communities.
• Responsible for leading and delivering on the Apprenticeship agenda with the Apprenticeship Co-ordinator, maximising the apprenticeship levy spend and driving apprenticeship delivery across the Trust.
• To co-ordinate all future workforce engagement programmes and activities through our digital / face to face, virtual offers.
• Work with our partners in developing resources to support curriculum activities / lesson plans for schools and colleges.
• To deliver key elements of the Trusts learning and education strategy linked to Future workforce development and our Apprenticeship targets.
• Work with our partners to develop and support system wide programmes to raise aspirations, provide awareness of NHS Careers and recruit into clinical and non-clinical roles.
• Continue to develop our bank of UHNM Ambassadors who will support on career talks, Step into UHNM, delivering virtual tours, sessions and programmes.
• To represent and be the nominated lead for the Trust on widening participation themes such as the Armed Forces Covenant, College Widening Participation meetings.
• Working to local and national agendas with a focus on talent, future workforce, widening participation and work programme initiatives
