Position Summary:This position will be face-to-face or online instruction of courses in support of programs at the Kackemak Bay Campus of Kenai Peninsula College.

This recruitment is for the Kachemak Bay Campus Lecturer Pool. Individual instructors will be chosen from the pool on a semester by semester basis based on a department’s needs.
The incumbent will be responsible for teaching one or more undergraduate courses in a manner consistent with the specific course content description. Adjunct faculty are expected to hold office hours appropriate for the course(s) being taught.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Candidates will be evaluated on suitability of their academic preparation, past teaching experience, and potential for providing high quality instruction to undergraduate students; expertise and experience relevant to the effective teaching of the subject.
Typical Experience:
Sufficient experience to convey the knowledge of the subject matter to college students.
Required Education or Training:
For academic areas, such as the arts, sciences, humanities and social sciences, adjunct instructors should have a Master’s degree in the discipline or related subject area.
Career/technical education adjunct instructors must have a Bachelor’s degree or extensive expertise in the subject area.
