The Academic Developer will be a core member of the Professional and Academic Development (PAD) team, within the newly formed Academy for Learning and Teaching Excellence.

We are looking to appoint an experienced and inspirational academic developer to play a key role in coordinating, monitoring and enhancing our academic staff development provision aiming at a demonstrable impact on graduate outcomes, student engagement, belonging and retention. This will particularly involve activities such as:

• Contributing to the design, monitoring and delivery of academic CPD activities in response to local and institutional needs.

• Building close relationships and sustainable networks to identify and disseminate examples of good practice from across the University.

• Contributing to the development of a CPD framework in academic practice, aligned with the UK PSF, in support of future Advance HE institutional accreditation.

• Liaising with and influencing School leaders and key stakeholders to shape bespoke solutions addressing school needs and aligned to the University academic development agenda.

The successful applicant will also contribute to wider Academy teaching, academic development, digital learning, and curriculum enhancement initiatives.
