JOB TITLE: Interim Director of Student Support Services

SALARY & HOURS: £70,000 – £75,000 / 35 hours per week

Role Purpose

An opportunity has arisen in our Management team for a dynamic, committed and supportive Interim Director of Student Support Services. Accountable to the Vice-Chancellor, the post holder will be involved in a wide range of university management and student support activities, including developing the University’s student support strategy, liaising with the Student Union, supporting students on careers and employability, overseeing the provision of student facilities such as the library and accommodation, as well as ensuring overall wellbeing at the University of both students and staff.

Skills & Experience

The successful applicant will ideally have experience in working at senior management level with a proven track record in leadership and strong budget management skills. Prior experience managing student support functions would be an advantage.
