The South East Doctoral Training Arc (SEDarc) is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant (RA), to support the set up of the methods training provision. This role will be for a fixed term period of 2 years, with variable hours: 750 hours in Year 1 and 250 hours in Year 2.
The project falls under the auspices of an ESRC-funded doctoral training partnerships ( https://www.ukri.org/what-we-do/developing-people-and-skills/esrc/doctoral-training-partnerships/ ). SEDarc comprises six academic partners: Royal Holloway, University of London, University of Sussex, University of Reading, Kingston University, University of Surrey and University of Kent.
The purpose of this role is to support the role of the Deputy Director Training by helping source expertise for development of general skills provision for the Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP). The Research Assistant will identify and secure shared access to existing specialist skills training across (and beyond) the SEDarc DTP. Further, the Research Assistant will find and collate existing recorded specialist training content into a repository, identify gaps in current specialist provisions, and identify individuals to lead on preparation and recording of new training material.
