The Role
The University of London Worldwide is seeking to appoint a Senior Manager Teaching and Learning to join the busy Learning Design and Production team.
You will be responsible for both undertaking learning design work with academic subject experts as well as managing a team of learning designers, media developers and online education content developers. You will take a lead in providing pedagogic advice and guidance to academics to support the development of online degrees and course content. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing processes to develop a consistent and scalable approach to online learning.
You will also manage a dynamic and diverse team of learning designers and content developers, modelling effective professional practice and nurturing their educational design skills where necessary.
We are seeking an experienced online learning professional who is knowledgeable in instructional and learning design techniques, able to devise new ideas and approaches and is skilled at supporting and mentoring colleagues in a busy team environment.

The University currently operates a Hybrid Working framework involving a mix of working remotely and in the office. Typically, the majority of employees will be able to agree to work remotely for up to 60% of their working week, role dependent, however will be required to attend on specific days for training or team meetings.
