This is an exciting opportunity to lead the student administration in an ambitious and forward-thinking department. The Department for Continuing Education offers a wide variety of courses from day schools through to DPhils, mostly aimed at adult learners, and offered in a variety of flexible formats, including part-time, online and modular. Your role will focus on educational policy, quality assurance, operational management, IT and collaboration, both within and outside of the University.
The role is challenging and busy, but very rewarding, and supported by an excellent team. To be considered, you will need to demonstrate a strong track record of contributing to strategy and leading on policy, planning and support in a higher education environment, together with an understanding of part-time and other flexible modes of delivery. You will also have experience of leading a large team, managing budgets and data, together with excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills. It will be an advantage if you are able to demonstrate a postgraduate qualification or equivalent in management or higher education.
