The Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages is seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Spanish from 03 January 2023 until 10 March 2023.
The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching of modern Spanish literature within the Sub-Faculty of Spanish by offering 8 lectures in Spanish literature. They will also be responsible during Full Term for providing approximately 8 contact hours a week of undergraduate tuition in Spanish literature and translation. A proportion of the tutorial teaching will be dedicated to Lincoln and Jesus College, but the specialist elements of the teaching will be distributed across Colleges.
Applicants must possess: a good undergraduate degree in Spanish; some relevant teaching experience at undergraduate level; fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English; a strong commitment to the tutorial system, and willingness to assist in the Faculty’s life and governance; and good organisational skills, communication skills, and sensitivity to deal effectively with pastoral duties.
