We are seeking to recruit an Operations and Student Experience Assistant on an open-ended, part-time contract working 26.25 hours per week. It is expected that the working pattern will be Tuesday-Friday, but we are committed to exploring flexible working opportunities with our staff which benefit both the individual and the University.
You will join a dynamic Professional Service team, in a busy and varied role. Reporting to the Student Experience Manager, you will be the first point of contact for our staff and students in person at our reception, on the telephone and in writing. You will provide excellent customer service and support a range of processes and procedures from registration through to graduation. You will provide general administrative support across a wide range of operational matters central to the effective running of the department including estates, financial processing, the administration of departmental events and committee servicing.
With previous experience of working in a busy office environment, you will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide accurate and comprehensive information to both students and staff members. You will have experience of working in and contributing to a diverse team, managing a complex workload independently and have a high-level of attention to detail. You will also have experience of, and aptitude for, working with Microsoft Office and Google software.
