The University’s Libraries and Museums unit has a vacancy for a Senior Libraries and Museums Assistant, working in the User Services (University Collections) Team. Reporting to the User Services Officer (University Collections), this post forms part of the small team responsible for retrieving material requested by readers, for monitoring its security in use, dealing with enquiries, providing an excellent user experience and supporting teaching priorities within University Collections
You should have experience of working in a customer facing role, be highly computer literate and have experience of handling historic books and documents. You will be capable of working accurately to tight deadlines, and be a good team worker and communicator.
