University of Sussex Hiring for Senior Library Assistant Job at Brighton, England , UK Full Time

The Library is seeking to appoint a Senior Library Assistant to support Open Access and the University’s institutional repository (Sussex Research Online), alongside the University’s Research Information System (Elements). The post involves reviewing and processing all publication records deposited to the institutional repository, monitoring and reporting on compliance with relevant Open Access policies and liaising with publishers and authors on copyright and self-archiving policies. You will provide a first point of contact for enquiries through Elements and Sussex Research Online, and work with stakeholders from Schools and Professional Services. We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual with keen attention to detail, who can demonstrate excellent communication skills, organisational capacity and the interpersonal skills to work within a small team in a busy, complex environment. An understanding of the changes and trends in Open Research is essential.
