PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the grill station for breakfast or dinner service

• Works with cooks to ensure the proper quantity of food is being prepared for service.

• Lead employees in food preparation and serving

• Complete forms including par order forms, waste sheets, temperature logs, and/or production logs

• Participate in cleaning work area and equipment

• May assist in orienting and training new staff.

• Weigh, prepare, and serve meals to meet special diet requirements.

• May check food on each patient’s tray against diet menu on tray and ask tray line employees to make correction

• May process payments including cash and credit/debit card transactions.

• Lead or independently operate a remote food service area such as a snack bar or espresso stand REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Possession of, or eligible to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment AND one year of experience in quantity or institutional food preparation and serving or equivalent education/experience.
