About the role:
The Office Assistant is responsible for providing assistance to the Executives and Senior Leaders of UP Education and also performing a variety of administrative and office support duties to ensure the smooth running of our Ponsonby Office. This is a varied role involves undertaking a variety of personal assistant and administrative tasks; calendar management, travel bookings, credit card coding, coffee runs, binding board reports and liaising with third party contractors/vendors.
You will also receive incoming calls and deal with enquiries, meeting, and greeting visitors and coordinating incoming and outgoing mail and maintaining office/staffroom supplies. Some of your other responsibilities will be to
Please note, this is a part-time role working 5 hours per day, either from 9am to 2pm or 8.30am to 1pm.
About you:
We need a real proactive go getter who is happy to support our Executive Team as and when required with all requests, coordinating events, and running a tight ship with office assistant matters. You will be able to adapt to systems and processes and be comfortable with working in a busy and dynamic team and have excellent organisational skills, with strong attention to detail.
Also of importance is the ability to use your initiative, multitask, meet deadlines, be courteous and professional. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office as well as a positive and friendly manner.
