UPS Hiring for Internal Audit Intern at Atlanta, Georgia Full Time

The Internal Audit Intern – Regulatory will help provide management a comprehensive report on regulatory compliance for the areas being audited. Regulatory Compliance Reviews (RCRs) focus on ensuring UPS and its subsidiaries comply with federal, state and local regulations, as well as UPS policies and procedures. The position will support management with the completion of audit programs and development of methodologies for testing and reporting on areas of concern.

Job Duties

• Ensure compliance with the department’s internal standards for regulatory compliance and aviation security audits

• Participate in the risk assessment process, including compiling qualitative and quantitative data and interpreting results

• Assist with finalizing and communicating audit reports

• Analyze internal processes to identify control strengths and weaknesses

• Review Corrective Action Plans for trends and potential follow-up items

• Conduct Quality Assurance Reviews on regulatory audit work papers

• Assist with general business responsibilities and duties

• Excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills

• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred

• Familiarity with the regulatory environment for U.S. Operations – preferred

• GPA of 3.0 or higher – preferred
