We are passionate about sharing the excitement of the sport and need dedicated team members who can help us continue to be the United States’ most successful summer Olympic sport.

The Operations Coordinator assists the CEO with the day-to-day administrative and operational functions for the USA Diving (USAD) National Governing Body (NGB).

The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

• Fills in for the CEO when necessary and acts as his agent in meetings and with staff.

• Works within the diving community to keep deliverables happening on time and according to the CEO’s expectations.
• Provide support to the CEO on the day-to-day administration of the organization.
• Increase organization membership in the areas of athletes, coaches, clubs, etc.
• Collaborate with Communications Director to develop internal and external communication for distribution.
• Create, maintain, and enter information into databases.
• Oversee membership administration.
• Collaborate with HPD to manage and maintain events calendar.
• Collaborate with high-performance staff to administer events as directed.
• Communication with faculty staff, USOPC, and other NGB staff to gather information, coordinate events, and schedule meetings.
• Organize, schedule, and facilitate virtual meetings.
• Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing.
• Create and edit documents for NGB policies, procedures, and functionality.

Physical Demands
The employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach and lift with arms, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is required to frequently lift more than 30 pounds without assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
The employee is working in a standard office environment but may be outside occasionally in wet or humid weather conditions, with extreme cold or extreme heat. Requires traveling.
