Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk processes accounting data and transactions under defined procedures/policies and maintains related records.

Responsibilities include:

· Match and prepare documents for processing

· Process information, both accounts receivable and payable invoices & payments

· Issue RMAs and credits as needed

· Post transactions and review for accuracy and compliance with policies

· Reconcile accounts, subledgers and other detailed records

· Work closely with Controller & Staff Accountant on projects as needed

· Back up for incoming Customer Service calls

· Front desk, receptionist duties

· Comply with ISO 9001:2015 standards and written policies

Job Requirements/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Bookkeeping, understanding of accounting concepts

· Data entry and verification

· Competency in office systems software – word processing, spreadsheets

· Computer literacy and ability to use business system for input, maintenance, and inquiries. Knowledge of Epicor software a plus.

· Strong customer service skills, problem solving and detail oriented

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.

Experience/Education:

· High school diploma or equivalent experience

· Two years related experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time
