Key responsibilities for this role include:

Serve as the Canadian Affiliate Safety Representative to organize, manage, maintain, and ensure continuous improvement of the Viatris pharmacovigilance (PV) system in Canada (including legal entities under Viatris).

Ensure adherence to requirements established by international, national and local PV regulations and guidelines as well as Viatris local and global procedures.

PV Operations-related areas such as individual case safety report handling and local literature screening.

Safety Surveillance-related areas such as periodic safety reporting, signal detection and risk minimization measures.

Governance and Compliance-related activities such as training and ensure readiness and participate in audits and inspections.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
-
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences. Health care background preferred (i.e., Nursing, Pharmacy).

Minimum of 3 years of working experience in the pharmaceutical industry and minimum of 1 year within field of pharmacovigilance.

Strong communicator (verbal and written).

Ability to function efficiently in cross-functional teams.

Fluent in English.

Proficient in Microsoft suite.
