Victoria and Albert Museum Hiring for Interpretation Editor at South Kensington Full Time
To edit text for permanent galleries, exhibitions and displays across the V&A sites. To ensure the text is clearly written and intellectually accessible for the V&A’s audiences, in accordance with the Museum’s text guidelines and interpretation strategy.
We are looking for an accomplished individual with experience of editing, preferably in a museum or gallery context, and producing high quality, inspiring text, driven by the needs of audiences.
This is a fixed-term contract. Sitting within the Interpretation team at the V&A and reporting to the Head of Interpretation, the interpretation editor will be required to work on individual projects in liaison with the team and other interpretation editors. We are looking for an enthusiastic editor with sound knowledge and experience, and a pro-active approach to work.
