Our four-year Cyber Security Apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain technical experience and business knowledge while studying for a professional qualification. On successful completion of the programme you will be awarded a BSc Hons degree qualification, debt free, whilst getting paid!

Over the course of the program you will undertake placements in different teams in our Cyber Security function. You’ll slowly build your technical knowledge and experience over time before selecting one final placement that allows you to specialise in an area of your choice.

Data breaches and identity theft pose an existential threat to our business, and in today’s hyper-connected world, that threat is escalating. Joining Visa’s Cyber Security team you will support the team to deploy new cyber security tools, collaborate with Cyber Security experts and ultimately you will be part of an important team working to protect Visa’s assets. You will get practical experience in areas such Security Architecture, Cyber Defense and Cyber Engineering. While these terms may not mean much to you now, by the end of the program you will be an expert!

Who are we looking for:

We look for people who are bright and eager to learn and who come from all walks of life. Ideally you will have studied a STEM subject and/or be able to show a passion and interest for developing a career in Cyber Security.

• Minimum of 3 years living in the UK or EEA (European Economic Area)
• Be ready to start full-time work from September 2022
• Hold 7 GCSE’s grade 9 – 4 (or equivalent)
• Be studying towards, or hold the equivalent of 120 UCAS points
