You will join our Visa Managed Services group under the Visa Consulting and Analytics division of Visa. The Senior Frontend Engineer will be working with a key, strategic partner on an exciting opportunity to enhance their newly launched digital bank. Due to the nature of this role and project, it is offered initially as an 12-month contract with the potential to extend based on scope of work and scale of project. Alternatively, you could use this project as a springboard into Visa and be redeployed to other Visa Managed Services projects or even into Visa’s world class technology team.

As a Senior Engineer you will be part of a Tech Squad that focuses on building innovative mobile software for the end users, using best-of-breed network technologies, and modern software development practices. You will be focused on providing the best mobile software for customers to help them manage their money and save.

You will get an opportunity to work iteratively with design and content delivery teams to provide the best user experience, and work with dedicated business services teams to utilize both existing and new services for the product range.

What you will need to be successful:

Android Role

• Software architecture patterns and principles. (e.g. MVVM/CLEAN/SOLID)
• You are a champion of native mobile apps, providing amazing experiences, and leveraging native capabilities. (e.g. Responsive, performant, and accessible UIs)
• Android Studio, Gradle, Kotlin, Coroutines/Flow, Room.
• Unit testing best practices.
• Security principles, best practices, and APIs.

This role will play a critical role in helping to deliver Visa Managed Services, a new business line which is in high demand from our clients. Once established in our initial clients, this role will support the scaling of these services across Australia and New Zealand, and through other markets in AP.
