Visionist, Inc. Looking for Full Stack Software Developer (Junior) at Columbia, MD Full Time

As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will be supporting a great customer by modernizing legacy applications that support the signals analysis community. This prime contract recently received additional work to support the integration of a new and modern web application into a critical workflow, enabling the analysis of electronic intelligence (ELINT) signals. You will be working with senior engineers to evaluate existing requirements and integrate the application with necessary external systems and tools. You will also gain experience with the electronic intelligence domain (ELINT), as well as Apache NiFi.

Responsibilities:

• Web application development (front-end and back-end)
• Integration with external systems
• Communication of progress and roadblocks to both senior engineers and customers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 1 year of experience in software development
• Experience developing web applications
• Experience using Node.js, React, and MongoDB
• Knowledge of REST API development
