As a TMA your job is vital to increasing the quality of cares given to residents in order to enhance the functionality of the clinical team.
Core Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed medications and limited topical treatments to residents
Perform routine resident care duties delegated by the RN or LPN
Meet the physical and psychosocial needs of residents.
Maintain all required documentation for medication and treatment administration
Scheduled Shifts:
Pay:$17.00-20.00/per hour depending upon experience, up to $23.00 for waiving benefits

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE:
Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Registered or certified as a nursing assistant, and completion of a state approved training program in medication administration with certificate received.
Effective communicator with staff, families and outside agencies.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and as delegated by the licensed nurse or registered nurse in compliance with all state/federal requirements.
Ability to understand residents charts, doctor’s orders, residents plan of care, medication orders and to communicate with residents and staff.
Must possess the ability to effectively gather clinical data in regards to resident status and condition and report to licensed nurse.
Numerical ability necessary for proper measuring of medication and to monitor specific resident cares.
Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices
