Our Principle, Customer Solution Architect (CSA) is a customer centric technical thought leader. They support the success of the organization by removing technical barriers and enabling our customers to utilize our platform and solutions. You will provide technical expertise to help customers achieve measurable outcomes with SaaS migrations, upgrades, deployments and lifecycle management. Also, the CSA will work collaboratively with customer success to assist in ensuring long term success, value, and retention of the customers. You will travel up to 50% to key customers and participate in product planning processes. In this role, you will:
Guide customers through business-critical changes and opportunities – adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Develop design and technical documentation to aid and accompany scoping and implementation of solutions.
Partner with the product and engineering team to develop customer solutions to an minimal viable product (MVP) level.
Enhance technical business scenarios; Provide strategic business and technical level expertise to aid customer decisions and processes.
Work as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders to provide high-level proposals and solutions.
Deliver and lead workshops, discussions and presentations around architecture, design & technical roadmap, aligning to business goals.
Drive and identify value of new product offerings, providing forwarding thinking solutions and paths to customer adoption.
Support the definition of commercial plans related to customer solution deliverables
Define key customer requirements for various product technologies that will be needed for specific customer solution
Work directly with product management on getting these requirements defined at an initiative and capability level and into the backlog of the correct product teams
Support customer account teams in making sure that items are prioritized in such a way as to meet customer ask timelines
Support customer request for proposal (RFP) as needed
10+ years developing complex solutions with an understanding of the customers technology environments, preferably with complex IOT, industrial, retail or fuel automation
Possess a high level of technical expertise, understanding how to develop complex solutions and understand customer environments.
Ability to develop and maintain cross-functional relationships internally and with the customers’ decision makers.
Deliver Industry and Technology thought leadership while encompassing our values
Good communications skills and confident in building positive relationships with customers and taking them on the journey
Experience in engineering, engineering practices, commercial strategies
Bachelors degree (masters preferred) in engineering, business or similar field, preferred
The base compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000 per year. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
