We are looking for a Reticulation Maintenance Team Leader to join our Water Unit Team. The Water Unit works with the activity managers of Council to maintain the reticulation network, including the water, wastewater and stormwater treatment plants. It also undertakes a number of projects provided to the unit through the annual 3 Waters renewal programmes and capital projects for the Waimakariri District Council.
In this leadership role you will provide direction and coaching/mentoring to your team, provide efficient and effective delivery of works and services contracted to the Water Unit, lead by example through the delivery of a customer focused service and manage key stakeholder relationships.
The Reticulation Maintenance Team Leader will work closely and in collaboration with the Reticulation Contracts Team Leader to ensure the work programmes established by the Water Unit are achieved. The focus of this role will be on reactive maintenance, work orders, projects and back-flow, along with stakeholder engagement, resource planning and scheduling, work-site establishment, work-site safety, auditing and continuous improvement in collaboration with the Business Support Function.
To be successful in this position you will need to be highly motivated team player and organised, be solutions focused, display excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with conflicting interests.
