Home Box Office, Inc. seeks a Technical Project Manager for the HBO General Inc. – Enterprise Svcs-Legal Bus Sys department.
The Daily
Manage all efforts within Enterprise Technology related to Cross-Organizational Access from a technical perspective
Oversee and provide technical guidance to a global team of contractors responsible for the tactical steps related to cross-organizational access
Act as a representative/stakeholder for the Enterprise Solutions team on any initiative that potentially impacts system access
Maintain and strengthen relationships with all WarnerMedia technology & HR teams
Foster relationships with technology and HR teams at other organizations that we are merging with, acquiring, etc.
Build a functional knowledge of any technical solutions being implemented at WarnerMedia that might affect cross-organizational access
Coordinate closely on efforts related to WarnerMedia Onboarding and Offboarding processes
Partner with Compliance and CSO to ensure cross-organizational efforts align with WarnerMedia policies
Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project, will use own technical skills to help in making decisions or recommendations for projects
Communicate with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals
Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change
The Essentials
3-5 years experience in managing complex, technical projects.
Fluency with technical concepts such as networking, active directly, identity & access management, messaging, people architecture, desktop support, desktop engineering, virtual desktop, and ITSM.
Experience working in a team-oriented, fast-paced, collaborative environment with global stakeholders.
Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience. Technical degree preferred.
Project Management Planning certificate preferred but not required.
Ability to convey complicated technical concepts & processes to non-technical audiences
Demonstrated expertise in effectively leading, organizing, planning projects
Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal. Must be able to manage communications effectively across multiple teams and departments.
Extremely organized and proficient overseeing large and small project schedules.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to plan and deploy large, complex, and global multifaceted programs/Initiatives.
Assist in the requisition and invoice process for all project related items.
Competence with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint.
Highly self-motivated, self-directive and attentive to detail.
