If you view Wellington as a vibrant, progressive, and ambitious city, known globally as one of the best capitals in which to work, live and play – then you can contribute to keeping it that way!
The role
Our Service Design team contribute to a variety of work across WCC, however their hearts and skills align closest with our Customer Experience unit who are all about making services better for the people that use them. They support each other to deliver people focussed projects, and collaborate with other teams as often as they can to make problem solving interesting and to ensure diversity of thinking.
As a Project Manager in the Service Design team, you will be responsible for driving your assigned initiatives that are aligned to and enable the achievement of Council priorities, and lead efforts to improve the customers’ experience through the Tutuki programme. You will manage the end-to-end delivery of your project, using service design thinking and agile methodologies in a pragmatic, fit-for-purpose way. A primary area for your attention is within Smart Council’s Tutuki programme, which is about transforming how we design and deliver services to the people of Pōneke.. This programme aims to *reimagine how we design and deliver services and build a framework for service delivery that’s slick, streamlined and makes sense. It’ll be measurable and consistent across Smart Council channels, making it easier for kaimahi to deliver a first-class service to customers in a way that makes them proud. *
Tutuki – reach farther, extend or succeed
